A respectable fourth for Atkinson

ONWARDS: It is one down and two to go for Alia Atkinson

ALIA ATKINSON gave it her all as she just missed out on a medal in the 100m breaststroke final, on July 30.

The Jamaican swimmer came in fourth, after she had won a swim-off the previous night to make the final.

This is the 23-yaer-old best showing in her third Olympic Games.

Atkinson's journey at the London 2012 will continue when she competes in the 200m breaststroke, on August 1 and the 50m freestyle, on August 3.
