Rihanna and Cardi B pay tribute to murdered New York teen

FOOTAGE THAT captured the brutal attack on 15-year-old Lesandro 'Junior' Guzman-Feliz has prompted celebrities Rihanna and Cardi B to share their condolences on Instagram.

The viral video of his assault shows Junior being dragged from a shop where he was repeatedly beaten and slashed with a knife.

Once his attackers fled, Junior left the scene to try and make his way to a nearby hospital but died from his injuries before he could get medical help.

Beside a photo of the teen, Rihanna wrote: ‘can't stop thinking about this poor baby boy, and how his family must feel right now!’ ‘I'm sincerely praying for your healing and #justiceforjunior’.

Rapper Cardi B also took to the platform to express her sadness at Guzman-Feliz's untimely passing as she posted a video clip of his mother protesting his murder in Spanish.

She went on to write a message in Spanish for the boy's family, acknowledging the tragedy as a mother's worst 'nightmare' and hoping she finds 'peace' soon.

The Bodak Yellow hitmaker concluded the post by drawing attention to the crowdfunding page that has been set up to help cover the costs of his funeral and donated $6,000 the Feliz family.
