Rokia Traoré in concert

IN CONCERT: Rokia Traoré

ROKIA TRAORÉ makes a much-awaited comeback to London next week after enjoying worldwide success with albums Bowmboi (2003) and Tchamantche (2008) recently.

Her trio of shows, Donguili - Donke - Damou (Sing - Dance - Dream), will take place in east London’s Wilton’s Music Hall, the renowned Barbican Hall and Village Underground in central London and will feature tracks from her eagerly-anticipated album and showcase new collaborations between European and Malian artists – including musicians from her music foundation in Bamako and more.

On Friday June 22, 2012 Rokia will present her audience with Donguili, a night which will include singers backed by her foundation and present stunning reinterpretations of existing songs and repertoire.

On the final night she will be joined by legendary British guitarist and producer, John Parish as she presents the "rock & Mandingue" musical colours of her upcoming album in a truly unmissable evening of live music to dance to.
