Rokoduguni to make England debut

DEBUT: Rokoduguni (PA)

UNCAPPED SEMESA Rokoduguni will make his England debut this weekend at Twickenham against the All Blacks.

The 27-year-old Bath player, who can play wing or centre, was born in Fiji but qualifies to play for England because of residency.

A lance corporal in the British Army’s Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, the back joined Lytchett Minster RFC, Dorset, in 2008 while training with the army and helped the club win promotion to the Hampshire 1 division.

Speaking about his selection, England boss Stuart Lancaster said: “I am delighted for Roko. It's great to be able to give him this opportunity.”

The All Blacks have dominated England recently, winning 3-0 during England’s tour in New Zealand over the summer, and expectations will be high that the untested army man can end the poor run.
