Scarlette Douglas launches new online TV talent show

FINDING TOP TALENT: Presenter Scarlette Douglas, right, celebrates TMTV’s launch with Capital FM’s Kanye Harrison

AT THE back end of 2018 Scarlette Douglas promised to come back and tell Life & Style all about her new project, TMTV, aka Two Minute Talent Vision.

Launched at the Foundation bar in London’s Covent Garden last week, Douglas, the popular face of Channel 4 show A Place in the Sun, said she was excited to reveal her idea which she has been sitting on for way too long.

But what is TMTV going to bring to the table?

“What is TMTV not bringing to the table should be the question!” Douglas enthused.

“We’ve got a show on our hands, that I believe, is like no other. Fun, fresh and funky!

“A show that has no competition element, but rather a platform to showcase all kinds of talent.

“Yes, there are variety shows out there that offer performances from a vast array of skilled individuals, but none that are only two minutes long, with option for the audience to choose whether or not they want to delve deeper into the lives of these talented artists.”

Tapping into where she believes most of her audience like to watch content Douglas said no one will miss out and there isn’t any reason for viewers not to tune it. People can find the show on YouTube and [Instagram video feature] IGTV.

“All of our socials are @tmtvuk and the episodes air once a week until series one finishes on March 10, 2019.”

She added: “On the show, you can expect up and coming talent, undiscovered acts and more established artists, all showcasing material that may have never been seen before. We want to be the main hub for people to come to be entertained and wowed.

“Ideally, we want to feature anyone that is passionate, highly determined and dedicated to becoming successful in their field, and if we can help those people on their journey to stardom, then our work here is done!”

Thanking those who attended the launch Douglas said: “It was epic!

VIBE

“The vibe was banging, the people were amazing, the talent were incredible and I want to do it all over again!

“It was mainly to get more people aware of TMTV and to celebrate all the hard work that went into producing series one.”
