LONDON PLAYED host to the much-anticipated WeWork Creator Awards at Battersea Evolution, toasting to the winners of the year-long initiative to recognise and reward ‘creators’ from all sectors.

Over 5,000 guests attended the awards, presented by actor, TV personality and radio DJ Reggie Yates and new music pioneer Carly Wilford.

Grammy award winning artist Estelle flew in from LA to support the awards, hosting an inspiring masterclass for aspiring artists on how to earn commercial success globally within the creative industry.

Legendary DJ Annie Mac performed a headline DJ set to close the evening, which was attended by a host of VIP guests including Made in Chelsea stars Josh ‘JP’ Paterson, Sam Thompson (fresh from the CBB house) and Kimberley Garner. Artists RAY BLK and Josh Barry also wowed guests with live performances.

The Creator Awards is a global initiative produced by WeWork to recognise and reward the positive impact made by the UK’s creative community in London.

The awards ceremony will see £1.1 million awarded to UK creators with the winners going through to the global final in New York in November, where they could win additional funding and worldwide recognition.
