Stars set to come out for Olympian's big night out

A STAR studded dinner and auction is being held to help raise funds for the Tessa Sanderson Foundation and Academy (TSFA) next week.

England and Tottenham footballer Jermain Defoe and a number of Team GB Olympians, including sprinter Abi Oyepitan, are amongst those that will be attending the charity dinner on December 12. The awards dinner will be staged at the Grange City Hotel in central London. The night will begin with a cocktail reception from 7pm.

The Foundation and Academy is a charity organisation founded by 1984 Olympic champion Sanderson CBE to help and assist young people in sport, towards a healthier lifestyle and through physical activity, together with building confidence and a social wellbeing whilst still in education.

The Foundation and Academy works under a structured programme to developing life skills, mentoring and monitoring of young people wanting to achieve a confident pathway to bettering themselves in society and in their social make up.
The TSFA operates to work in partnership and to provide funding, care, advice, goods or assistance to communities, individuals or others who may require this kind of help.
