Stormzy makes it onto Sunday Times Rich List

RICH LIST: Stormzy

STORMZY HAS been named as one of the richest musicians in the UK.

The rapper has made it onto the Sunday Times Magazine’s rich list for the first time with a £16 million fortune.

Stormzy, who is set to headline Glastonbury festival this June, has recently scored his first number one with his new single Vossi Bop.

Reacting to the news that he had topped the singles chart, Stormzy told the Official Charts Company: “Words don’t really do it justice. I’m genuinely, for once in my life, speechless! My supporters have had my back like crazy – this is all you guys, thank you so much.”

The 25-year-old joins fellow musicians and friends, Ed Sheeran and Adele on the rich list.

Sheeran, is ranked in 17th place on the Music Rich List with a fortune of £160 million, while Adele is in 22nd place with an estimated wealth of £150 million.

The Shape of You singer is also top of the Young Musicians Rich List and has doubled his wealth since last year, according to The Sunday Times.

Adele remains one of the richest female recordings in the list despite not releasing an album since 2015.

Andrew Lloyd-Webber tops the overall music list, which includes performers as well as writers, with a £820m fortune.

Lloyd-Webber, 71, has composed the music of some of the most popular and well-loved musicals from the last five decades, including Phantom of the Opera and Cats.

The list will be published in its entirety in The Sunday Times Magazine on May 21.
