Thinking of adoption?

A LOVING and secure family can give children the best start in life, but many children still wait for this. Adoption can change these children’s futures, so could you help give a child a permanent home?

Families that Last is encouraging prospective parents to consider adopting from the many children currently waiting in the care system as a way to build their family.

There are many children from your community waiting for adoption. Last year only 17 per cent of these children from black or minority ethnic backgrounds were placed with their ‘forever family’, six times lower than from other communities.

We need more adopters from our community to come forward and provide these children with the love and stability that they deserve.

Everyone deserves to be part of a ‘forever family’ and you could help a child today. These children really need a family prepared to offer them the love and commitment they seek and we believe that with our support, you can give these children a better future.

Our Families that Last team has extensive experience of finding stable homes for children who would otherwise remain in the care system. We provide on-going adoption support for as long as adoptive families need it, including our SafeBase parenting programme that ensures families get off to the best possible start.
