Transgender model Talulah Eve threatened with acid attack

MODEL TALULAH-Eve Brown has revealed the extent of transphobic abuse she receives online, and revealed how she has been threatened with acid attacks.

The former Britain's Next Top Model contestant took to Twitter, sharing that she had faced a series of violent threats online in recent weeks.

In a tweet to her 5,000 followers, the 23-year-old said: 'I'm never really one to go on and on about the trolling I receive but when people threaten me with an 'acid attack' it's just hard to fathom what goes on in people's minds in order to say sickening things like that'.

Along with the tweet, Talulah-Eve shared a screenshot of of discriminatory comments she has received on her Facebook account.

A Facebook user named Robert Busby had commented on one of her posts writing 'acid attack'.

After sharing the screenshots on Twitter Talulah received an outpouring of support from fans who were horrified by the comments she had received.

A source close to Talulah told The Sun: "People can be so hateful and it can get quite ugly. She's used to being yelled at in the streets, even before she became famous.

"This acid threat has definitely knocked her for six. We've all seen how it's become something of a trend."

Talulah hit headlines by staring on Britain's Next Top Model, and in September she publicly announcing her plans to undergo a womb transplant and carry her own baby.
