STARS ACROSS the British music scene have paid tribute to Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson after it was announced that he passed away on Sunday (Dec 2) following a long battle with cancer.

The Kiss Fm’s tragic passing was confirmed on social media by fellow DJ Gordon Mac in a Facebook post. He wrote: "Our thoughts and prayers go out to Paul’s nearest and dearest. He will be sorely missed by the entire Mi-Soul family and by all that had the privilege to see him live."

Radio 1Xtra DJ Trevor Nelson lead the tributes from friends and fans, tweeting: ‘The 1st club I went to at 15 was called Crackers in Wardour st.The 1st club I went to regularly was the electric ballroom in Camden Town. The Dj was Paul Anderson, who in his heyday was one of the best ever.R.i.p “Trouble”‘

Alexander Nut tweeted: “Sad news, rest in peace the legendary Paul 'Trouble' Anderson. An architect of this music scene and a true inspiration in club culture.”

Other tributes came from Daddy Ernie, Benji B, plus more.

Anderson was first diagnosed with lung cancer in his left lung in 2011 and was in remission for six years following an invasive operation. Unfortunately, the cancer returned and earlier this year, tumours were discovered in his brain and his right lung.
