Vogue cover girl Adwoa Aboah wins Model of The Year Award

MODELS, DESIGNERS, influencers and more descended upon the Royal Albert Hall to attend one of the most stylish night's of the year - the annual BFC Fashion Awards.

At the ceremony, the big winner of the night was 25-year-old model Adwoa Aboah, who beat out fellow models Gigi and Bella Hadid, Winnie Harlow and Kaia Gerber to take home the Model Of The Year Award.

During her speech, Adwoa thanks British Vogue Editor-In-Chief Edward Enninful for his support as she collected the sought-after award.

2017 has been a big year for the stunning model starring in numerous campaigns and catwalks for top designers such as Burberry, Chanel and Marc Jacobs. Aside from her modelling career, Adwoa also helps many through her online platform Gurls Talk, a website that encourages young women to open up and discuss mental health issues.

Another prominent winner was Virgil Abloh who collected the best Urban Luxe Brand Award for Off-White, and Donatella Versace who was presented with the Fashion Icon Award by Naomi Campbell.
