Wellbeing Cafe to launch this October

WELLNESS: Balance cannot be achieved in a vacuum

WELLBEING IS a necessity not a luxury for us to lead the lives we want. It is, of course, intimately tied in with our health.

The World Health Organization defines health as “a state of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity". Better yet we can define wellbeing as a state of order and homeostasis (balance), in the mind, body, emotions, spirit and social realm of a person.

Defined in this way, we can see that we are all aspiring to achieve and maintain wellbeing throughout our lives. This achievement cannot happen in a vacuum. It requires an interaction between us and the world around us in order to:

1) Confirm and affirm the status of our wellbeing

2) Assist us in restoring that state of wellbeing.

This is the goal of the Wellbeing Cafe, a unique social provision providing a hub of health and wellbeing services and products under one roof to support you on the journey to wellness.

The cafe provides a safe, relaxing space to get advice and assistance from professionals and practitioners to support us in restoring wellness and balance in our lives. It is run on a monthly basis with opportunities to have wonderful healthy nutritious food and time to engage with Wellbeing Cafe partners on an ongoing basis.

Join the Wellbeing Cafe team on October 19 2018 for the launch of the Wellbeing Cafe – with a focus on mental health, wellbeing and life repair.
