'MJ trial coverage is disturbing'

COURT CASE: Conrad Murray

I FIND the media coverage of the trial of Michael Jackson's doctor, Conrad Murray, disturbing. Everything about the reporting is wrong.

Do we really need to know about Jackson’s toenail fungus, or that he took hours to urinate? What purpose does it serve for us to see pictures of his thin naked dead body? None whatsoever.

Regardless of your opinion of Michael Jackson, do we really need to know the intimate details of his life?

We all know his troubled history, but his genius as a performer cannot be denied. The stripping away of the guy's dignity in such a public way is unnecessary. With the politics of historical revisionism when it comes to anyone black, I truly hope that future generations will be smart enough to judge between truth and propaganda.
