Yxng Bane shares loved up visual

Showing no signs of slowing down east London artist releases new video for “Maximum” effect

Yxng Bane performing at BBC 1Xtra Live, has released a new video

YXNG BANE shared his latest single, a catchy, high-octane track called “Maximum”, produced by Zachary Scipio this week.

Speaking on the single, Bane states: “Maximum’ is expressing how it is and more so, from the point of view of the person complaining. So when I say ‘you cancel every plan we make’, it’s me cancelling, like a quote that men usually hear, sometimes we may be too focused on work and cancel things etc.

“That’s what the songs about; just being in that position and expressing that kind of feeling.”

The accompanying video, which depicts a romantic couples holiday as told through their iphone lense, is a nod to society’s obsession with technology and the open-ness of social media users.

Bane explains: “The inspiration is today’s generation and their love for social media. We wanted to make something that connects instantly, something that will be iconic. Something different.”

The single comes in the wake of last week’s loose track “SKRRR” – which premiered on GRM and set the pace for Bane’s return to the limelight.

East London’s Yxng Bane saw an incredible rise last year, releasing his debut project – the top 30 mixtape titled HBK, selling out Brixton Academy, and playing festivals across the UK and Europe.

No stranger to a truly addictive single, Bane has more than cemented himself as one of the most talented and dominating talents in the UK scene.

Fans will remember 2018’s “Better”, the hard-hitting Fredo collaboration “Problem” and the chart climbing “Needed Time”. Since the release of his remix of Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” the vocalist and rapper has been propelled into the limelight.

His HBK Mixtape, saw Bane taking us on a journey of honesty and raw emotion,  inspired by the Summer of 2017. The mixtape spanned topics of love, loss, desire and the notion of constantly growing and doing better.

Bane, proving his multifaceted creativity, also unveiled a short film of the same title (“HBK”), which saw him giving an insight into the day-to-day life of a group of teenagers.

Having seen huge chart success with his collaborative single with Yungen “Bestie”, which held an awe-inspiring 18 weeks in the charts, and his own single “Rihanna”, Bane went on to hold ten weeks in the Top 20 withAnswer Phone”, a collaborative single with Ella Eyre and Banx & Ranx.

Returning with his own solo smash “Vroom” in 2018, Bane rocketed into the Top 30, proving he isn’t going anywhere.
