TRACE URBAN, TRACE Vault and TRACE Latina are set to bring an exciting new energy to the UK music channel line-up that will empower the voices of UK urban culture, giving them the opportunity to showcase their talent to the UK and global audiences.
TRACE was first launched in the UK 22 years ago as an iconic print magazine which featured A-list stars including Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks, Alicia Keys, Snoop Dogg, Lauryn Hill and more.
Following its acquisition in 2003, Trace has seen a massive expansion and Trace now operates 24 TV channels, 70 FM and digital radios, mobile and digital platforms, content and events in 162 countries and engages with 300 million fans worldwide. The organisation consider themselves to be a key activist of the powerful afro-urban cultural movement.
Olivier Laouchez, Chairman, co-founder of Trace said: “Being back in the UK at a time where the UK urban scene is so vibrant has a unique flavour.
“This is Synchronicity! 16 years ago, we could not afford to launch even one TV channel on Sky and now we are launching three TV networks that will celebrate various aspects of the urban culture and he people who make it in the UK and the world.
“Trace is the bridge, the connector of urban culture and UK will take a special place in our global network. Trace is the new home for the UK afro- urban scene.”

This is amazing , the only problem is it only being on Sky, so they are missing out on millions and millions of interest from customers on Freeview, Freesat, Virgin Media and so many other platforms. Get these channels on more platforms pleaseee. So much extra limelight that can be shed on this amazing concept, and these three amazing channels.
