Artist pronounced dead at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood following shooting

AMERICAN RAPPER Pop Smoke has been killed following a home invasion at his Hollywood Hills residence.

The artist had been hailed recently as one of the big acts to watch this year following his smash single Dior which has ammassed over 100 million views on YouTube.

Real name Bashar Barakah Jackson, Pop Smoke had a fervent following in the UK due to his love for Trap and Drill music with production credts on his previous work including UK producer 808Melo.

Reports claim two men forced their way into Pop Smoke’s house firing shots one of which is said to have fatally wounded him.

He was rushed by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood where he was pronounced dead.
