Short Film: I Am Pilate

The latest in the “I AM” series will go live on YouTube, along with multi-platforms

IF YOU haven’t done so already check out Four8 Productions ‘I Am Pilate’, their latest short, which debuted on their YouTube channel last weekend.

Directed by Femi Oyeniran (Adulthood, Kidulthood, The Intent) ‘I Am Pilate’ is the newest offering in Four8’s ‘I AM’ series, which aims to introduce biblical characters in timeless setting, exploring their individual journeys. This particular film follows a story in Pontius Pilate’s life in a more human setting.

the film features a poignant lead turn by Shaun Scott (The Kingsman, The Bill), with his younger self played by Jamie Kristian. Supporting performances come from a diverse BAME cast including Jazz Lintott (The Intent), Letitia Hector (Venus vs. Mars, Famalam) and newcomer Kayode Akinyemi.

Four8 is pioneering the use of top-class filmmaking, acting and writing talent, making innovative and high-quality content for the modern generation. Tailored to the streaming-focused, multi-platform digital age, the organisation is a shining example of progressive production, with a team of ambitious storytellers who embrace and seek out diversity.

The short, and “I AM” series, is produced by Stephané Alexandre. Working alongside an award-winning young and sundry team, including BAFTA and Emmy award-winner Matthew Barrett and BAFTA-nominated cinematographer Miles Ridgway, Stephané is bringing Four8’s inspired, inclusive creativity to the forefront.

The film will also be broadcast on London Live on April 12th, programmed in as the channel’s Easter film.
