It’s Eazi and Lazer

It's been two years in the making but 'Oh My Gawd' fans are going to love it

Eazi does it

MR EAZI and Major Lazer shared the audio and visuals for the dancehall-inspired single “Oh My Gawd” featuring Nicki Minaj and K4MO.

The track, which takes lyrical inspiration from reggae/dancehall classics by Black Uhuru and Baby Cham, is the first single from MR EAZI’s Something Else EP coming in October.

“Oh My Gawd,” was produced by Fred Again and Diplo, with co-production from Alex Gibson, Toddla T and Siba.

An official dance video, directed by London-based Alexx Adjei and choreographed by Patience J, features some of the UK’s top dancehall and Afro dancers commandeering a posh, old-money estate in the British countryside for a raucous bashment party complete with the latest moves from Kingston and Lagos.

Nigerian-born, UK-based artist K4MO, who delivers the track’s hook, calls “Oh My Gawd” a “contagious hit that will remain a classic for years to come.”

“This record was really fun to make,” MR Eazi says. “It’s crazy how it went from hearing a K4mo intro in the studio with Fred Again, to me jumping on it and then Diplo hopping in! And [Major Lazer’s] Walshy Fire hitting me up to say it’s a banger—next thing Nicki is on it! Been a journey really, like two years in the making, and I can’t wait to perform it at my next festival”
