J-Sol: ‘All For You Mama’

J-Sol wrote his new song based on his personal experience and regrets

EAST LONDON singer/actor J-Sol released his new single “All For You (Mama)” last week.

The song is taken from his debut EP ‘Sol Searching’ and was written by J-Sol and produced by Grammy nominated and Billboard winning production duo Bizkit-N-Butta who have worked with the likes of John Legend, Miguel, TLC and Ne-Yo.

Announcing the new single J-Sol says:“’All For You (Mama)’ is a song I wrote in LA during Grammy weekend after seeing an artist I look up-to bring their mother to the award ceremony as a date.

“I remember feeling so much rage-thinking how I will never get the chance to share my moments with my mum or simply buy her the things her heart desired. In that moment I was filled with regrets, reflecting on ways I could have been a better son.

“Everything I worked hard for became pointless. This mindset that I felt myself falling into began to feel toxic and I knew It. I decided to channel my in-head thoughts into a song.

“Later that night I attended DaBaby’s grammy party in Beverly Hills and got introduced to Grammy Nominated and Billboard winning production duo’ Bizkit and Butta’. We instantly vibed and got in the studio the following day-the rest is history.

“As soon as I sang the line “I know you’re loving this view, mama I do this for you” I knew the song had potential to help people like myself-mourning the loss of someone or something, especially on celebrational days such as christmas, birthdays, mothersday, wedding days, graduation etc.

“The sentiment is that “they are forever with you, so give them a good show to watch.”

Graduating from the Brits, Sol rose to prominence off his YouTube covers and has received praises from numerous music legends such as; Nile Rodgers, Teddy Riley, Boyz II Men, Louis Tomlinson & Tyrese Gibson.
