WITH OVER 25 million record sales under their belt, Shalamar will be performing eight UK dates from October 18 – November 3.
They are one of the most acclaimed live acts on the circuit winning the Best Live Experience at the Bright Star Awards (Colourful Radio) and Best Live Act as voted for by readers of Soul Survivors magazine.
“A Shalamar concert is a giant party,” says veteran member Jeffrey Daniel. “From the moment we step on stage to the moment we finish the audience becomes part of the show, they’re up on their feet dancing and singing along!”
Daniel and Howard Hewett, along with newest member Carolyn Griffey, will wow their various audiences with classics such as A Night To Remember, There It Is, Friends, I Can Make You Feel Good, Take That To The Bank, For The Lover In You and many more.
Daniel is the man who taught Michael Jackson the moonwalk and introduced body-popping to Europe and the UK.
He co-choreographed and featured in the Smooth Criminal and Bad videos during a creative partnership with The King of Pop that spanned twenty years.
He went on to star in the original West End production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Starlight Express, playing Electra.
