Check out 'Dead Set', four tracks of instantly recognisable musical genius from one of the UK’s best producers

THE SON of Sir David Rodigan, Cadenza, is back, and showing no signs of slowing.

Following in the wake of his singles No Guidance” ft. Kasien and Walk Out” ft. Ms Banks earlier this month, the West London producer has shared his highly anticipated Dead Set EP.

With select snippets of the Dead Set film shared on Cadenza’s Instagram already, last week the producer shared the full-length visual, a cinematic video featuring an inspiring curated lineup of Kasien, Ms Banks, Flohio and Killa P.

Cadenza (real name Oliver Rodigan) is one of the most sought after and versatile producers in the UK.

Over the past 12 months, he has worked with Jorja Smith, AJ Tracey, and MIA, and is currently in the studio with the likes of Aitch, Amine, Sean Paul, BEAM and PA Salieu.

Oliver’s deep history with Dancehall and club music initially saw him releasing on a multitude of labels, including Mixpak, Fools Gold & Dummy. At one stage, he even toured as the youngest member of Major Lazer.

Now with an evolved and adaptable sound, he is admired for his ability to work in any genre and with any artist. In recent years, he has collaborated with the likes of Loyle Carner, Stylo G, Busy Signal, Shenseea, Yxng Bane and Jorja Smith with whom he recently returned the favour writing and producing her monster hit single Be Honestand the hugely popular track “Where Did I Go“.

Just last year Cadenza was invited to a Beyonce writing camp at her Parkwood Studios in LA. He went on to host his own writing camp at the legendary GeeJam studios in Jamaica where he was joined by some of the hottest writers from the UK, Jamaica & USA.
