These two artists are simply ‘Bad Breed’

Footstops featuring Big Zeeks is that Caribbean sound personified

NEW MUSIC: Footsteps

FUSING THE streets of the UK with their Caribbean influences, Footsteps and Big Zeeks bounce off each other’s island energy to create ‘Bad Breed’.

Footsteps has forged his own lane with his eclectic sound, leading him to work alongside a stellar line up of the UKs talents on his catalogue.

With both artists immersed in their Caribbean roots, it seems only right that Footsteps and Big Zeeks link up.

Fresh off the back of his six-track EP ‘Is That Foot,Vol.1’ featuring Doktor and Moelogo, With a comprehensive musical upbringing in London, Footsteps found his knack for instruments at a young age learning clarinet and saxophone before he finished school.

Now with a personal playlist of reggae, afrobeat, soul, dancehall, funk and house, the latter reflecting his approach to his music career, Footsteps is the definition of music fusion.

‘BadBreed (Afro/Caro)’ sees syncopated beats under the slick rhymes of Footsteps as he flips slang and Yoruba around the topic and blame of ‘badbreed’ antics.

Crowned ‘The Fresh Prince of Harlesden’ by none other than Gappy Ranks, Big Zeeks releases his energetic and forthright character in the final verse with his Dancehall flow.

Footsteps explains how this song; “showcases the unity of Africa and the Caribbean in life, spirit and over all culture.

“The only thing that separates us is the ocean”.

Having already left a huge foot print with his recent EP release, ‘BadBreed (Afro/Caro)’ is another step on his pathway to success.
