OLUWAJBEATS RELEASE: ‘Owner’

‘OWNER’ IS the exciting new summer collaboration from rising Afro-Swing producer OluwaJBeats, which features three of the UK’s hottest emerging artists – AdeJosh, Charlie Mase and Keys The Prince.Since its release, ‘Owner’ has received strong support from the tastemaker platform ‘No Signal Radio’, where the song was premiered, and has also gained early plays on specialist radio from Robert Bruce on Capital Xtra.

AdeJosh spoke on ‘Owner’ stating “it’s one of the most organic songs” he’s ever created, thanking OluwaJBeats for bringing the trio together and being the visionary behind the track.

Forbes Africa’s ‘30 Under 30’ female director Scilla Owusu, changes the narrative with an empowering statement of powerful black women being the homeowners; while also capturing the guys’ fun personalities in the playful video.

Scilla said this was important as women in music videos, are often portrayed as the extras, when that’s not always the case.

“I wanted to create an anthem that would be remembered for years to come,” OluwaJBeats expresses, with Keys The Prince backing up the statement saying “‘Owner’ is this years anthem. This one is for the culture.”

Keys The Prince was recently selected by DJ Semtex to join the line-up of remarkable acts at this year’s virtual Wireless Festival ‘Wireless Connect’. Keys took to the stage with AdeJosh and Charlie Mase for their first live performance of ‘Owner’, which received amazing feedback from fans and viewers alike.

‘Owner’ has just been signed to 2-Tone Entertainment (2TE) whose previous releases have included the likes of Saweetie, Fuse ODG, Asco and Crazy Cousinz; a household label with a proven successful track record.

OluwaJBeats is steadily cementing himself as one of the most promising producers to come out of the UK, with ‘Owner’ attesting to that. Charlie Mase says: “‘Owner’ is one of those songs that needs to touch your ears to resonate with you, beautiful thing about music.”
