Real life ‘Pressure’ from Koffee

It's her official new single and it's taking the world by storm and setting new records for Jamaican artists

ON FIRE: Koffee

“PRESSURE’ IS the official new single by Grammy award winning artist KOFFEE live across all digital streaming platforms via Columbia Records.

Produced by Ryan Bailey, it launched as a Target Embargo on BBC Radio 1Xtra as well as being Annie Mac’s Hottest Record on Radio 1. Featuring trademark textured lyrics with a realistic lens of the world, the song’s message is one of positivity.

The official new single follows ‘Lockdown’, a song gifted to fans earlier this month. The accompanying visuals hit two-million views on YouTube in under 48 hours – a first in Jamaica for an artist to achieve this and is nearing 5million views.

Due to the global outbreak of Covid-19, a string of international shows had to be postponed/cancelled including supporting Harry Styles for his worldwide tour.

However, Koffee took part in One Big Weekend in May appearing on the BBC 1Xtra stage and some of her Glastonbury debut was aired in the BBC’s coverage of this year’s festival.

Koffee stormed her way into 2019 with the release of her debut ‘Rapture’ praised for its lyrical ingenuity and positive messaging which went on to achieve over half a billion combined audio/visual streams.

Dominating last year with a series of anthems, a plethora of magazine covers including British fashion and lifestyle bible – i-D, she was handpicked by Apple Music for the coveted ‘Up Next’ series and enjoyed sold out headline shows and festival appearances across the Caribbean, North America, Europe and Africa.

The project appeared in multiple album of the year credits across the likes of Complex, Pitchfork, Billboard and The Guardian.

The new decade kickstarted with a historic Grammy win where she took home Best Reggae album breaking the record for the first woman and youngest person to do so.
