Seasonal livestreaming with Sarah Teibo

UK award winning Gospel artist is on a mission to make this Christmas one to remember

ONE FOR THE XMAS DIARY: Sarah Teibo

GOSPEL ARTIST – Sarah Teibo – is set to make this year’s Christmas extra special with an exclusive Christmas Carol livestream taking place on December 12.

It will be an immersive experience of carol singing interspersed with Bible readings, a children’s choir and a special duet with my guest Matt Kane of Motown the Musical

Teibo, who last year recorded a remix version of her single Like a Child with multiple award winning Gospel Legend – Fred Hammond – will deliver her performance in order to bring about some light relief following national lockdown to curb the spread of Covid-19 which has devastated the globe.

“I’m really excited about bringing carols to people this year, seeing as going out may not be on the cards this Christmas,” Teibo told Voice Online.

“Putting on this virtual experience is my way of helping families and communities come together to share a common experience (albeit virtually) at a time when Covid restrictions might make it challenging for people to really have a fun and eventful Christmas.”

Joining Teibo on the night will be Matt Kane from Motown the Musical and a mystery children’s choir.

Teibo said that those purchasing tickets to the virtual Christmas Carol livestream can expect to be in for a rather special treat.

“It will be an immersive experience of carol singing interspersed with Bible readings, a children’s choir and a special duet with my guest Matt Kane of Motown the Musical.

“I’ll also be singing my new Christmas single – Hear the Sound – on the night. Seeing as this would not be streamed on social media and it’s not a Zoom session, purchasers of tickets to this exclusive event will also enjoy an evening devoid of distractions that come with these other platforms. “

With the likes of Gospel Artists – Lurine Cato MBE and Premier Gospel’s Muyiwa OBE, Choir directors Karen Gibson MBE (Kingdom Choir) and John Fisher BEM (IDMC Gospel Choir) alongside Shirley McGreal MBE (Founder of Keep the Faith magazine) and The Voice newspaper’s own longest serving Gospel Journalist – Marcia Dixon MBE – all being recognized in the Queen’s recent Birthday Honours list, Teibo feels that the gospel is very relevant and important especially during these current times.

“I feel it (the Queen’s recent Birthday Honours list) does shine some light on the great work these individuals have done over decades, not just within the Gospel music sphere but more so as ambassadors of Christ reaching out to their communities with compassion and the powerful message of love and hope that comes in knowing God. “

With her latest single – Spirit Come – having reached number two on the UK Christian Charts, the Christmas Carol livestream is just one of many exclusive treats and experiences being offered through Teibo’s campaign on the crowdfunding platform Rocket Fuel in the lead up to the release of her Christmas music video on December 18 with the single available on pre-order from December 4.
