Ghana and Nigeria connect for ‘Hasta La Vista’

New collaborative single brings out the best from Sarkodie and Zlatan

Sarkodie and Zlatan link up

GHANAIAN RAP icon Sarkodie joins forces with Nigerian Zlatan and producer Rexxie for a fun filled, African link up ‘Hasta La Vista’.

The music video for this new single brings joie de vivre.

Filmed in Ghana and bringing together lots of people from the community as well as some great dance routines, you can’t help but feel positive vibes that spill out of the video.

One of the hottest producers of Afrobeats at this current moment, Rexxie brings an energetic and fun beat to the track.

The three African giants give a real energy to the track which you can feel between the artists, “Ghana Naija, Network!” we hear from Zlatan.

With lyrics exchanged in perfect flow between Sarkodie and Zlatan they show what they are made of.

With the three artists having a combined 250 million views across YouTube, it’s safe to say this will be a sure-fire hit 

Each artist brings their own successes to the table. Rapper, singer and songwriter Zlatan released his debut album “Zanku To The World” with features from Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, Davido and Patroranking. 

‘Hasta La Vista’

Zlatan is the originator of the Zanku sound and producer Rexxie is part of the movement.

Rexxie has worked recently with Naira Marley on ‘Jakpa’ Lil Kesh on ‘Again O’ and ‘Illuminati’ with Zlatan and monster hit ‘Able God’ with Chinko Ekun, Zlatan and Lil Kesh.

Since Sarkodie’s landmark debut album ‘Mayke’ in 2009, which has become Africa’s biggest and best loved hip hop albums, he has gone on to win the BET Best International Act Africa and then a further 80 awards, along with tens of millions of album sales.

It makes him one of the most successful rappers in Africa.

‘Black Love’, Sarkodie’s album in 2019 saw great success with impressive features all over the album including, Mr Eazi, Tekno, Donaeo and Idris Elba.
