Skate Lates returns to Somerset House

Skate Lates runs from Wednesday 13 November 2019 – Sunday 12 January 2020

SKATE LATES returns with a new series of late-night music takeovers at Somerset House.

Perfect for late-night skaters and music lovers, Skate Lates features leading DJs on the decks, with this year’s line-up welcoming Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard, hip hop turntablist DJ Yoda and London collective Krankbrother.

Joining the 2019 line-up is Somerset House Studios resident artist, Nabihah Iqbal, hailed by The Guardian as ‘a trailblazer for asian women in rock’, who brings her eclectic celebration of music for an unforgettable Skate Lates residency. RockersLDN serve up a Caribbean Christmas extravaganza, whilst top promoters Eat Your Own Ears return with a selection of the best new music.

All of the tracks from their live DJs will also be piped through to our Skate Lounge direct from the decks, so after you’ve been on the rink, warm up and enjoy a drink in the Skate Lounge, home of the Baileys Treat Bar, where you can continue to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy essential tunes.

This year also marks 20 years of skating at Somerset House and the iconic venue will celebrate with their first-ever Skate all-nighter on Saturday 7 December.

The Fortnum’s Lodge bar is also open until 23.00 with a range of cocktails on offer throughout the evening.
