Bringing the heat: Hot Sauce Society

London’s only festival of it's kind returns for a Christmas special across three floors of spicy fun

HOT STUFF: Various flavours will be featured at the Hot Sauce Society Xmas market

BACK AFTER a packed event in the Summer, Hot Sauce Society returns, this time to Brixton’s Dogstar pub and will host three floors of saucy fun with free entry all day.

Hot Sauce Society is London’s only all-day event dedicated to the infamous spicy condiment.

Just under forty traders will unleash the very best of the UK’s hot sauce market into one convenient hub of hotness and be conjuring up some never-seen-before specials designed to go with a Christmas meal, especially for the event.

TABASCO® Sauce will be on hand, providing Bloody Marys from the TABASCO® Brand Pick Me Up Bar on the top floor.

Taking place December 14 and running from 11am – 6pm, the Hot Sauce Society Christmas Market will welcome DJs, Christmas sing-along cabaret with a live piano, festive cocktails and a chance to pick up some last minute stocking fillers for that spice-loving friend or family member.

On the day traders will be selling and sampling their individual bottled hot sauces, hot chutneys and chilli jams from independent stalls. Vistors can learn about the makers, their story and what goes into their hot sauces.

Allie Behr of Hot Sauce Society says “We are so excited to bring a Christmas edition of Hot Sauce Society, our first event was filled to the brim of hot sauce lovers and we can’t wait to bring some special Christmas editions designed for Christmas dinner.

“We’ve got a live piano singalong, plenty of traders and everyone that comes will be supporting local businesses. You will be able to pick up totally unique sauces not available anywhere else.”

Opening times:
Saturday, December 14
11am – 6pm
Address:
The Dogstar, Coldharbour Lane, Brixton
