Mo Gilligan announces free show for NHS and key workers

London comedian hits the stage later this year giving back to those who are on the frontline of the fight against COVID-19

FOLLOWING THE release of his smash hit global Netflix Special ‘Momentum’, a Number one trending Entertainment series with ‘The Lateish Show’ on Channel 4, a BAFTA 2019 nomination and # a double NTA 2020 nomination, one of the UK’s finest comedians, Mo# Gilligan, has announced a special, free show for all NHS and Key Workers.
 
The filmed matinee show, which will take place at London’s Eventim Apollo on November 14 as part of Mo’s ‘There’s Mo To Life World Tour’, is a thank you for their phenomenal and continued hard work against the Coronavirus Pandemic.

The news comes after Mo announced his brand new Channel 4 show All Star Happy Hour With Mo Gilligan. The very special live four-part series launches on May 4, at 22:00.

The show will be a joyful mix of his trademark sketches, viral formats, unique musical performances and hilarious prize-winning games as he invites members of the public to compete against celebrities in a series of challenges, whilst trying to stuff as much happiness into an hour as he possibly can.

Having already brought entertainment to the masses across social media with his hugely celebrated live Instagram format #QuarantineGames, Mo’s high-energy and brilliantly uplifting style makes him the perfect man to deliver joy to our screens when we need it most.   
 
This all follows as Mo continues his rise as the UK’s biggest breakthrough comedian having achieved numerous award wins and nominations, recording The Big Narstie Show Series 2, as well as his own hit Channel 4 series The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan.

The Times named him ‘The Funniest Man in Britain’ and his debut stand up tour, Coupla Cans, came to a close selling over 50,000 tickets including a huge two-week West End residency.

His debut Netflix Original Stand Up Special Momentum was globally released in 190 countries and quickly smashed into the Top five watched in the UK.
