YOUNG MEMBERS of the New Testament Church of God St Jude in Clapham recently won the third edition of the Mind Challenge church competition held among different denominations in south London. The winning trophy was presented by Greenwich councillor Anthony Okereke.
A high calibre of participants, comprising A level, apprenticeship and GCSE students from different faith denominations churches, travelled far and near to participate in the Mind Challenge competition. Among those competing were New Wine church, New Testament Church of God Brixton, and St Jude in south London.
These churches went head to head in the competition organised by Sharon Foster and the youth department at New Testament Church of God in Clapham. Rachel Casy-Bell, declared St Jude the winners and their supporters jumped for joy as the team landed the challenge trophy.
Mind Challenge was well-attended with church supporters family and friends enjoying the event-filled afternoon with fun and laughter to celebrate the successes of young people.
