LAST NIGHT some fashion’s brightest stars came out in the cold to celebrate the industry’s icons and innovators at the Royal Albert Hall, London.
Rihanna, ever her fashion line’s greatest ambassador, attended dressed in full Fenty. Her eponymous brand – the first maison headed up by a black woman – won the Urban Luxe award.
Supermodel Naomi Campbell was honoured with the fashion icon award, while her mentee, 19-year-old Adut Akech, was named model of the year.
