STREETWEAR BRAND FitMe Clothing has made its debut in the fashion world on ASOS marketplace.
After beginning in a front room in North London, FitMe Clothing initially printed T-shirts and bespoke apparel for local customers and art groups.
Now the unisex brand offers quality loungewear and accessories.
The clothing brand’s creative founder, Tex-Roi McKay, explained the progress his designs have gone through.
“In a crowded marketplace, we wanted to offer more than just designs that are comfortable to ‘Netflix and Chill’ in, our goal is to develop London-centric collections inspired by our customers,” he said.
“That’s why ASOS Marketplace is our ideal platform because it also has collaboration central to its brands DNA.”
The brand have proven to be record breaking in their efforts as they became the first streetwear brand to create an online collaboration platform for artists, dancers and musicians.
Diversity is central to their partnerships and their range includes up-cycled denim jackets developed by London street artists.
FitMe Clothing has continued to grow from strength to strength during the pandemic by adding “young emerging UK based creatives” to its growing list of fans.
Speaking on plans for the brand after lockdown, Mr McKay, makes it clear that he wants his designs to be a powerful industry voice in the streetwear and athleisure market.
He added: “We already have ambitious plans in place to contribute to lifting the national mood, especially among young people with the launch of #fitmefridays, a hosted event held every two months aimed at independent fashion designers, creatives and fans alike to enjoy live performances and personal appearances from members of the wider ASOS/FitMe family.”
The events will be an opportunity to build a community of creatives that can bring their talents to life.
FitMe Clothing’s “Inspired for You” collection is available on ASOS Marketplace from March 8.
