CBD Expo comes to London

The event will provide a platform for exchange of ideas, knowledge and expertise

CURRENTLY THE UK CBD market is estimated at £300 million and 1.3 million users, the YouGov’s 2019 survey also suggests that between 8-11% of UK adults, approximately 4-6 million people – have tried CBD.

The market is growing at double digits and expected to be just short of £1 billion in 2025. The CBD Expo is embarking to introduce and promote the population to the world of CBD. It will take place on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of April 2020 at ExCeL London.

The goal is to make the show a trade and consumer success by introducing new and innovative features like Business Connect, hosting a conference with discussion panels, product demos and workshops.

Industry leaders have been involved in creating a superior conference which will not only focus on research, science and technology but also business, marketing and expansion.

While the CBD industry and its products are becoming more and more recognised, used and understood, there remains a number of issues that act as a barrier to entry onto the market.

Legal ambiguity causing hurdles for companies attempting to expand the range of products and harnessing the benefits of CBD. Development through education, building awareness and positive legal framework are paramount to further grow the industry.

Providing a platform for exchange of ideas, knowledge, expertise and valuable information will encourage a cooperative approach to growing the industry.

Furthermore, The CBD Expo is introducing new and exciting elements like a food hall with exclusively CBD snacks, dishes and cocktails, cooking and baking workshops, a beauty and wellness area.
