The MoneyGram Award was established in Italy in 2009, and it is the only national award that recognises the excellence of companies run by foreign entrepreneurs. Due to a new European approach, the idea was to make more than just a local award.

Last year MoneyGram started a big campaign to strengthen the integration of migrants in Germany and the UK. In 2019, MoneyGram started the same initiatives in Italy and France.
