Beyoncé, JAY-Z Plus More Set To Make Millions Over Uber IPO

As Uber goes public, a bevvy of stars are expected to cash in

MONEY MAKERS: Beyoncé and JAY-Z

BEYONCE, JAY-Z, Ashton Kutcher plus more are expected to make millions of pounds after Uber went public on the New York Stock Exchange last week.

The $8.1 billion IPO (Initial Public Offering), saw Uber’s shares go for $45 each when it went public last Friday (May 10), making it one of the biggest tech IPOs in recent history.

As a result a long list of stars could be benefiting in a big way, with Forbes confirming that stars including Gwyneth Paltrow, Ashton Kutcher and Oliva Munn are investors in Uber, while other celebrities reported to have invested include Leonardo DiCaprio, Jared Leto, JAY-Z and Beyoncé.

According to reports, Beyoncé was once paid in company shares after performing at a private Uber party in 2015, instead of earning her usual estimated $6 million fee.

Initial reports claimed that Beyoncé’s shares could now be worth $300 million, but according to Celebrity Net Worth, due to Uber’s current market cap of $67 billion and likely dilution of shares since 2015, the the Naughty Girl singer’s Uber stock is most likely worth about $9 million.
