New monthly Voice newspaper available from this Thursday

The first edition of our 72-page monthly publication will be in stores from September 26

THE VOICE newspaper is launching its new 72-page monthly publication on Thursday September 26 2019.

Having held its position as the only national black newspaper for over three decades, the Voice is redefining its strategic direction to better serve its readership and loyal supporters.

Building on its credibility as an established UK ethnic media brand, the Voice wants to ensure it is around for many years to come and attract the next generation of readers.  With a newly revamped website and a new monthly publication, The Voice Media Group will appeal to its growing core audience –  providing daily updates and features online and offering more in-depth, analytical features and exclusives via the monthly print publication.

The first monthly October issue is indicative of what readers can expect from the Voice – high quality editorial content that includes an exclusive and intimate interview with activist and campaigner Gina Miller plus a special feature from Lord Simon Woolley – founder and director of Operation Black Vote, the advisory chair of the government’s race disparity unit and the first black person to be elevated from Sir to Lord within a three-month period.

Paulette Simpson, director at the Voice Media Group said: “Our strategic direction has changed to remain competitive and commercially viable in an ever-changing industry.  However, our values and commitment remain the same as they were 37 years ago – to provide high quality editorial content and campaign on issues that will make a difference to our community.
Our readers should be reassured that we remain focused on our purpose and vision to be the leading ethnic media brand in the UK – connecting and engaging with the community and celebrating black excellence.”

The new monthly publication is available from September 26 at an introductory price of £2.50 from over 2,600 UK outlets.
