The Sun under fire over Clarkson’s Meghan hate rant as ex-judge calls in the police

A letter sent to Sir Mark Rowley warns that Meghan and black people in the UK are at risk of racial violence

OFFENSIVE: Jeremy Clarkson

A FORMER judge and race equality groups have urged the police to take action against former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson for his vile racism towards Meghan Markle.

Peter Herbert, who was an immigration judge, and three campaign organisations are demanding that Metropolitan Police commissioner Sir Mark Rowley act over Clarkson’s hate-filled rant which they fear could lead to “racial violence” against black people.

Today, singer Laura Mvula said Clarkson’s article made her feel unsafe in the UK as a black woman.

The TV presenter has been under fire since writing a column in The Sun where he described his hate for Markle as being on a “cellular level”, saying she was worse than serial killer Rose West.

He wrote about how he was “unable to sleep” at night, because he was “dreaming of the day when she is made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while the crowds chant, ‘Shame!” and throw lumps of excrement at her”.

The article has been widely condemned and was written in response to Meghan and Harry’s bombshell Netflix docuseries where the couple recount their dramatic departure from the Royal family and the institutional racism Meghan faced at the hands of the firm and the British press.

In a letter to the Met Commissioner, Herbert, Society of Black Lawyers and Badung Africa, said Clarkson’s column was “deeply offensive” to people of colour.

The letters read that “a history of slavery and colonialism, images of being paraded naked for sale and abuse” are a part of a sad history for Britain’s ethnic minority communities.

“That such abuse should appear in a national newspaper and encourage assaults, is an absolute disgrace and gives potential incitement for extremists in our society and elsewhere to carry out acts of violence,” the letter added. “We are aware that the intended victim, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle has received death threats and hate abuse online in the recent past, including use of the “N” word on a regular basis.”

The letter, which has been co-signed by Lee Jasper; a former Police & Race Adviser to the Mayor of London, also blasted The Sun newspaper’s editor Victoria Newton for having crossed the line in publishing the shocking article.

They added that she couldn’t “feign ignorance of the law” when she has access to “legal advice at the highest level”.

“By way of background the Sun newspaper has a history of weaponising offensive and racially derogatory comments from its cartoonists and journalists, whilst authorised at the highest level by the Editor,” the letter reads. “Given the huge circulation of these comments in the Sun newspaper, and in the media generally, the propensity for racial violence against people of African descent in the UK and to the immediate family of the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle is obvious.”

The letter went on to slam the tabloid rag for previously publishing the “most offensive, xenophobic and racist comments that have appeared in a British newspaper for some years”.

They accused The Sun of dredging up a “significant history” of “racially offensive, and misogynist comments, whilst purporting to highlight women’s rights”.

The latest attack on Markle was warned to be “causing significant distress and anxiety to the intended victim, her immediate family, and to the wider black community”.

The Sun has since withdrawn the article at Clarkson’s request after the 62-year-old presenter even had his daughter speak out against his comments, accusing him of “misogyny” and “bullying”. However, her comments against her TV-presenter-dad did not call out the racism directed towards Markle.

Clarkson, who was previously embroiled in a N-word scandal with the BBC in 2014, responded to the uproar by calling his remarks about the Duchess of Sussex as “clumsy” – but failed to offer an apology.

He wrote on Twitter: “Oh dear. I’ve rather put my foot in it. In a column I wrote about Meghan, I made a clumsy reference to a scene in Game of Thrones and this has gone down badly with a great many people. I’m horrified to have caused so much hurt and I shall be more careful in future.”

The Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO) revealed that Mr Clarkson’s comments about the Duchess of Sussex had received more than 20,000 complaints.

The press watchdog said it broke the record as the most complaints received in their history.

Celebrities and politicians have all slammed the embattled presented for his column, including more than 60 cross-party MPs who have written a letter to Ms Newton demanding an apology and for action to be taken against Clarkson.

The latest letter by the UK’s leading black organisations, who advocate for racial equality, are calling for Sir Rowley to begin an investigation into the matter and for the case to be passed to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).

They urged for the ordeal to be investigated under the Public Order Act 1986, arguing that there is “clear evidence of intent” by Clarkson and Newton “given the scale and degree of race hate crime targeted at the Princess of Sussex, and the previous offensive conduct of Jeremy Clarkson”.

The Society of Black Lawyers (SBL), Bandung Africa, Blaksox, and Operation Black Vote have all backed the demands of the hard-hitting letter, adding that they hoped the Royal family would now speak out against the hate directed towards Markle.

The letter added: “This type of vile language has dangerous potential consequences not only in the United Kingdom, but also in the USA where domestic terrorism is also a significant problem. Such terrorist acts are often encouraged by such publications. There is a real likelihood that these comments can amount to incitement to racial hatred and be a real danger to the Duchess of Sussex, her family and friends.”

A Met spokesperson told The Voice: “A number of reports have been made to police following the publication of an article in a national newspaper on 17 December.

The allegations have been assessed, no offences have been identified and no further action will be taken.”

Asked on LBC about the comments on Wednesday, December 21, Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley said:

“There’s a line to be drawn. It’s not for police to get involved with is it ethnical, is it moral, Is it proper, is it offensive? The legal lines are only crossed generally when things are said that are intended or likely to incite violence. I don’t think this is one of those cases, but of course we will keep a close eye on it.”

The Voice has approached The Sun for comment.

THIS IS NO SURPRISE to us, the Black community of African descent. We understood from the very beginning when Miss Markle expressed concern about the way she was treated by the Royal family and the British press.

It therefore comes as no surprise when the dregs of society are able to make these types of remarks, because they are given a platform upon which to do so, (invited by the household) enable this disgusting man to use such vile language against someone who has never spoken a word that was not true. THIS only serves to prove what the Duke and Duchess has outlined as a fact.

For all those who are clamouring to become part of the British establishment, beware.

Clarkson is a dreadful and vile man even without this letter, as he tries to cling on to fame and fortune by using Meghan to boost his flagging (that should be nonexisting) “career” in such a blatantly last ditched manner.
Should we dare to glimpse onto his distorted world, we may not be too surprised to read of allegations of cheating and womanising …Clarkson (spit)

The writing is on the wall.
Let all who care for England be warned.
England’s collective group of Marxist inspired and supported Minorities, will not cease their accusations, and using their collective influence, until the best and most noble English Magna Carta tradition that include: Free Association, Free Critical Speech, Debate and Discussion Traditions of England are destroyed. Do we really want England to adopt the culture of Saudi Arabia?

George Orwell’s warnings have been ignored.

England’s Parliament; Public institutions, Political Parties, and Judiciary have been forced to adopt characteristics that mirror Islamabad; Nigeria, or Tel Aviv.

His Majesty’s Subjects ought to be alarmed with the disparity of power; influence and control minority people, and the minority Marxist inspired creed, have on Parliament; the Judiciary and England’s Public Institutions today.

This Marxist inspired creed, supported by the Rt Hon Harriet Harman’s 2010 Equalities Act, and the Equality & Human Rights Commission (EHRC), have granted Protective Status to women; religion, disability, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, and race.

Being critical of this large group of minorities, will cause Caucasian and patriotic English speakers or writers to be criminally accused of a “hate” crime: or having a “phobia” or “misogyny.”

This is the end of England’s 900-year Free Speech Tradition.

This collective body of minorities have successfully destroyed all the best traditions of this unique Protestant, Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, and Irish Catholic Caucasian nation.

Where was the African-heritage immigration Judge, Mr Peter Herbert, in 2018, when over sixty of His Majesty’s Caribbean-heritage Subjects were being illegally persecuted and illegally exiled to the Caribbean?

Birmingham’s native singer Ms Laura Mvula, needs to remember the reason she believes London is a fearful place; especially for African-heritage people, is entirely due to the knife carrying culture, endemic in large section of London’s African-heritage delinquent youth.

I am appalled that a newspaper would publish such comments in the 21st Century.
It would appear that the Sun remains as racist as possible. As a 60 + year old born in England. I can recall my parents telling me I should never purchase the paper. Which I never have. ButI hear about some of their
scandalous reporting. I feel for Megan as these behaviours once again remind us of the experiences of our ancestors, which are still being conducted, but with a 21st Century context. He needs to be punished…I will not be watching any TV channel who continue to have him on their programmes.

Racist like that vile Clarkson should be banned from tv and other public forums. When he got away with saying “N**** N**** pull the trigger” I was not surprised. Now he’s trying to us the game of thrones to mask his racist behaviour. He is inciting hate towards black people and he should be investigated
I have many choice words to describe that disgusting little man but I won’t stoop to his level. What goes around comes around. Every dog has it day

The Crown enabled the press to publicly kill Meghan Markle over a period of time, using racist tactics so she, and Harry would leave the so called ‘Royal Family’(RF) without titles, without protection, and be indirectly exiled.

This is evident by their failure to put a stop to the continued extremist, terrorist, racist behaviour against Meghan Markle perpetrated by the British press.

Therefore racist scum like Jeremy Clarkson felt comfortable to publicly spit his vile racist hate, and the Sun in-turn showed their support of this hate by printing terrorist garbage coughed up by Jeremy Clarkson which amounts to hate crime at the highest level. It is unlawful! And he should be jailed! Jeremy Clarkson’s spit of racist hate affects all black people and has demonstrated that racism is rife in Britain, bubbling under the surface until situations are created to allow racists to show their real feelings out in the open. Believe me when I say, and as sad as it is, racism in Britain is here to stay.
