China McDonald’s apologises for ban on black people

African community becomes a target of suspicion after Covid-19 outbreak was linked to the city’s Nigerian population

FAST FOOD chain McDonald’s has temporarily closed a branch in Guangzhou, China after it barred black customers, claiming the ban was a response to local regulations.

McDonalds has apologised after a video shared on social media showing a notice that read: “We’ve been informed that from now on black people are not allowed to enter the restaurant.”

McDonalds said that when it found out about the notice it temporarily closed the restaurant.

The African community became a target of suspicion after a covid-19 outbreak was linked to the city’s Nigerian population. Some have ended up on the streets, unable to enter restaurants or even grocery stores.

Recently, hundreds of Africans in Guangzhou were evicted from hotels and apartments after online rumours.

The Guangdong provincial government has responded to concerns about discrimination by calling China and Africa good friends, partners and brothers.

It said it attached “great importance to some African countries’ concerns and is working promptly to improve” its way of operating.

McDonalds responded to the outcry, stating that the ban on black people was “not representative of our inclusive values”.

“Immediately upon learning of an unauthorised communication to our guests at a restaurant in Guangzhou, we immediately removed the communication and temporarily closed the restaurant.”

Wow!!! so they imediately removed the communication and temporarily closed the restaurant. They have also stated that they have now conducted “diversity and inclusion” training in the branch. Newsflash!!! this did not happen because of lack of training. This was conducted by racists who targeted black people. No mention of any staff being dismissed. If Mcdonalds took this seriously the staff responsible for this would be instantly dismissed. As far as i am concerned no amount of diversity and inclusion training would ever convince me to step foot in this dutty place again.

Over the last 5 years ,during my travels I’ve seen such an increase where black people are crowding McDs ,you would think they don’t know how to cook and eat normal food!,this is one of the reasons why they are being taken advantage of!!,
the same applies to the Asian shops that sell all the hair products and the food in the market place, where our people continually support them financially.
BOYCOTT!! is what’s needed, but our people don’t seem to understand what that word means !!!!!

Can’t you see the plot, that’s exactly what China is trying to make happen. Its so obvious that they planned it as a state business. Who g as be them the instruction. Americans definitely know that black people aren’t the cause.

Honestly, Africa, give China a taste of their own medicine. They’ve made Filthy adverts about our colour, our race! Compared us to dirt. They’ve discriminated us and treated us like aliens from another planet. They’ve used our music and have taken credit for it. And now that this Virus is spreading – Trump quoted “Chinese Virus because it came from China” they’re blaming us and putting us to shame for a virus that we have no relationship to. Lets Cut China off from Africa! They’ve given us plenty of reasons to.

    Is that what China wants?
