NO ANSWERS: The family of Bunny Wailer are still searching for his wife, Jean Watt, who has been missing for two years

THE FAMILY of Reggae icon Bunny Wailer are appealing for information to find his wife, who has been missing for two years.

Jean Watt, known to family and friends as Sister Jean, was reported missing on May 23, 2020, after wondering out of Wailer’s home in Kingston, Jamaica.

Ms Watt was 70-year-old at the time of her disappearance and suffers from Dementia.

Family appeal for information on Instagram

The family have renewed their appeal for information this week, to mark the two-year anniversary since she went missing  – in the hope that it leads to her being found.

Writing on Instagram on Tuesday, the family said: “Today makes two whole years with no sign of Sis Jean. So many questions and no answers.

“Please continue to share her picture and contact the nearest police station with any information that can help us find her. #WhereisSisJean

Ms Watt had been Wailer’s wife for over 55 years, before he died on March 2, 2021.

In 2020, while he was alive, Wailer, put up a reward of one million Jamaican dollars for information which could lead to the whereabouts of his wife.

According to previous reports, his wife’s disappearance had a detrimental impact on his health and he was described as being “distraught” and “heartbroken”.

In July 2020, two months after her disappearance, Wailer suffered a stroke.

It was his second stroke in two years.

In December 2020, the three-time Grammy award winner was admitted to the Medical Associates Hospital in St Andrew, for complications following his stroke that Summer.

Jean Watt has been missing for two years

The 74-year-old never fully recovered and died on March 2, 2021, and was the last surviving member of the iconic Reggae band, The Wailers.

Last year, Wailer’s son, Abijah Livingston, released a documentary called Wail N Soul Searching for Sis Jean on YouTube –  to raise awareness about his step-mother’s disappearance

Livingston, is a singer-songwriter like his famous father, and has been actively making videos with family members hoping someone will come forward with information.

There have been numerous “sightings” of Ms Watt,  but nothing has resulted in her being found.

She designed and created most of the costumes Wailer wore on tour and throughout his successful career.

Not convinced of Bunny’s family here. A small posting 2 years too late. Must find her. Or her body for the Wailers family to get a claim in for the money.

The Reggae Legend, Bunny Wailer’s spouse, Sister Jean’s (AKA Jean Watt) disappearance. She has been missing since May 2020, kingston, Jamaica. The world just like I wants to know what has happened to her as there is not many news/posts about her, not even on Bunny’s official page which says alot about his family as a matter of fact, I have been harrased by what it seems to be one of the family members which you can see on my page, which makes me think if they care if she’s missing or if they’re apart of it. I advise you to take a look at my pages to view my interactions with them, it was horrible I have also been blocked by the Bunny Wailer official page which makes me think if they are a conspirer. Please follow/interact with my socials and keep up to date with my latest posts to spread awareness and may some form of Justice be served for her. #JUSTICEFORSISTERJEAN #missing #BobMarleyandtheWailers #RESTINPOWERBUNNYWAILER

The family have consistently posted and searched for Jean. She suffered from Dementia and though Bunny himself past after two strokes the search goes on.
