‘It’s about legacy, it’s about community’: Black-owned dentist is open for business

We spoke to the Dove Dental and Wellbeing Spa team about giving back to the community and putting patients at the heart of their work

LAST MONTH Dove Dental and Wellbeing Spa opened in Earlsfield, south west London. The black-owned dentist practice has been part of the Dove family for 35 years when current managing director Kay’s father established it. Now, following a full refurbishment complete with state-of-the-art facilities, Dove Dental and Wellbeing Spa is welcoming patients – both old and new.

We spoke to managing director Kay Dove and principal dentists Dr Kevin Dapaah and Dr Jamal Johnston, about putting patients at the heart of what they do, giving back to the community and helping the next generation of black business owners and dentistry professionals.
