AFTER A brutal Haitian defeat, Oliver Cromwell’s desperate troops changed course for Spanish occupied Jamaica.

Marie James wants to tell this true story of the five year war that followed the English invasion, where Juan de Bola’s army of farmers, hunters and families, made the land their strongest weapon, in a film.

    My name is Lafaine Wiggan. I am the producer for the show “Early Rise” with hosts Rev. Ronnie Thwaites and Pearnel Charles Snr. on the Bridge99FM in Jamaica, sister station of Irie Jam Radio in New York. The show airs 5am to 7am (Ja time) every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
