THALI LOTUS is a sound girl with a difference.
The London born entrepreneur and DJ was forced to pivot during lockdown when her income from playing Root’s and Dub music was cut off.
However, far from being put off by the music industry she turned her attention to creating a microphone that would be the envy of all microphones.
Having self-funded the 14-month journey to date Lotus launched a crowdfund last month.
Her mission is a simple one: “Unmuting the world,” she enthused.
“That’s the ethos of CAYA, to unmute the world, to amplify the voices of people and to get the unheard heard.”
Lotus adds that CAYA audio is a brand that serves as a belief system.
The founder believes that inspiring others is authentically shaped- by empowering authenticity and supporting difference. “We, all as individuals, communities, creatives, educators, activists need to be catered for and need to be heard.”
