Greenwich ensure it’s a Chic summer

Not to be missed: Nile Rodgers and Chic

KICKING OFF today, Greenwich Summer Sounds takes place at the stunning World Heritage Site, the Old Royal Naval College, on the riverside in the heart of Maritime Greenwich.

Headlined by Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Tom Jones, Black Eyed Peas and Kaiser Chiefs, and featuring a fantastic line-up of street food and drinks, the spectacular summer series of concerts seamlessly combines the best in music, food and culture.

Bringing top tier vibes from tonight the legendary Nile Rodgers & CHIC will be supported by DJ and Radio Presenter MistaJam, followed by the iconic Tom Jones and indie pop trio Scouting For Girls on July 6.

Next up are party starters Black Eyed Peas, supported by UK Garage legend DJ Spoony and official HedKandi and Ministry of Sound saxophonist Ellie Sax on July 7, whilst Leeds indie favourites Kaiser Chiefs, supported by The View, will close an epic week of music on July 8.

Alongside the music programme, concert-goers can kick off the perfect summer evening out by enjoying delicious street food and drinks by the river.
