Just Mercy attracts the great and the good at House of Lords panel discussion

American legal drama film starring Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Foxx tells the true story of Walter McMillian, who with the help of young defence attorney Bryan Stevenson appeals his murder conviction

LAST NIGHT  Lord Hastings hosted a discussion of new film Just Mercy at the House of Lords, in advance of the film’s release this Friday.

In attendance from the film were Michael B. Jordanand Jamie Foxx, as well as Bryan Stevenson, the US lawyer whose story is told in Just Mercy.

A range of guests were also in attendance, including designer Ozwald Boateng, OBE, House of Lords member Floella Benjamin, OBE, British actor Danny Sapani, and British campaigner Doreen Lawrence, OBE.
