Jaykae features on Kida Kudz’s New Single

Afro-swank pioneer returns kicks off the year with brand new single ‘1AM’ with Birmingham's golden child

ON ‘1AM’ sees Kida pays homage to his African heritage as he delivers his trademark and catchy flow over a sampled, legendary hip-life instrumental.

This track also provides a pleasant surprise for fans who hear Jaykae, the Grime rapper from Birmingham who recently features on Ed Sheeran’s Take Me Back To London remix with Aitch and Stormzy, flowing effortlessly over a hip-life beat. ‘1AM’ follows the release of Kida’s previous hit singles ‘Money’ which featured the MTV and BET award nominated Nigerian artist, Teni and ‘Bounce which featured the Godfather of grime Wiley!

Kida Kudz, the leader of the unique Afro-fusion sound, has already received major co-signs from heavy-hitters such as A$AP Rocky and Playboi Carti – as well as having collaborated with artists such as Burna Boy and Ms Banks.

Last year was amazing year for Kida; seeing him make an appearance on YO! MTV Raps, feature in a national Footasylum x Nike Shox campaign, perform internationally at a number of festivals including AfroNation in Portugal and amass over 10 million streams across digital platforms!

It’s fair to say that since bursting on to the scene with his smash hit Issa Vibe, Kida has not held back on solidifying himself as one of the most exciting prospects to come out of the UK. If 2019 is anything to go by, then 2020 is sure to be another standout year for Kida Kudz.
