Tana’s ‘Ride & Clutch Part. 2’ pulls in the big guns

Brum spitter has been 'excited about this single for a very long time'

MAGNET: Tana attracts the big names for his project

BIRMINGAHM RISING star Tana has revealed the video to single, Ride & Clutch Part 2 via EMI Records.

Earlier this year Tana dropped Ride & Clutch which garnered support from 1Xtra, Capital Xtra, Jorja Smith, Lethal Bizzle and many more.

It has amassed nearly a million streams across platforms and continues to rack up thousands daily!

Premiered last night as DJ Target’s Targo Embargo this new offering features a stellar line-up of some of the hottest artists on the scene right now, Aitch, Unknown T, JB Scofield and M1llionz cementing Tana’s status as an artist to pay attention to.

It’s also Capital Xtras Homegrown Track of the Day and Toddla T’s Coldest Record on R1!

Tana says on the track: “I have been excited about this single for a very long time, since I dropped the original Ride & Clutch part one (on Mixtape Madness).

“The feedback I got was just crazy and I knew that this was hit remix material. We have had a crazy few months due to lockdown but during this time we have managed to create something organic and special. This has turned out sick!!

“Verse for verse everyone bodies it and I can’t wait to share this with the world!”

Ferociously bubbling on the underground, shutting down shows, radio and live alike this track sees the newcomer really flex his lyrical and melodic capabilities.

With his own unique take on UK drill, making it something unique to him with the Jamaican flair he infuses his tracks with, the Birmingham native and grandson of “Sir Coxsone Dodd” one of the founders of the legendary Studio One label and reggae itself is, just getting started.
