Tessellated drops ‘Tropics Vol 1’

Tessellated is breath of fresh air to music from the Caribbeanan that has a level of musicality that can be appreciated across the world

THE DEBUT EP from Tessellated is with us. “Tropics Vol1” is an incredible collection of seven tracks which perfectly showcase the unique talent of the Los Angeles-based artiste.

From the native sounds of his homeland Jamaica with reggae and dancehall, seamlessly interweaving the percussive melodies via Africa, straight through to the raw edge of HipHop, “TropicsVol1”, this set is testament of a young man who is truly on top of his musical game.

With the first two releases from the project (No Ansaft Crayon and Me & My Lady) gaining amazing coverage across the globe, this EP proves what an incredible talent this young man really is.

The title track sees Tess flexing his lyrical prowess over a driving beat, whilst the Latin undertones on “Sweeter”(which features Grammy nominee Protoje) perfectly demonstrate his musical appreciation for sonic sounds and how they can amalgamate together to create something special.

“A lot of work has gone in from myself & others to make Tropics a reality”, Tessellated comments.

“So I’m just glad it’s finally going to get heard by the world. It’s a proud moment for me as it is my first body of work.”

Released on December 4th through Independent, “Tropics Vol1” is set to bring a new and exciting vibe from Jamaica to the world stage.

With a acclaimed UK radio support coming from the likes of Seani B, David Rodigan and Ras Kwame, this project is set to grow from firm foundations and propel Tessellated in to the next phase of his career.
