US RAPPER Ja Rule says he has been denied entry into the UK days ahead of his tour.

The iconic 47-year-old star was due to kick off his tour in Cardiff on Friday, but says he has been blocked from entering the country.

The award-winning rapper, whose real name is Jeffrey Atkins, took to social media to say he put $500,000 (£395,000) of his own money into the tour.

Writing on X he said: “I’m so devastated. I can’t believe the UK won’t let me in. I’ve spent a half million dollars in production of my own money to put this tour together only to be denied entry DAYS before my shows.

“This is not fair to me or my fans, these venues are 85% sold and now I can’t come.”

Prison

He went on to say: “The UK is one of the few European countries that restricts entry to people with criminal records.

“In general, you will likely be denied entry if you have been convicted of a crime punishable by 23 months or more under British law or served more than 12 months in prison.”

Ja Rule was sentenced to 28 months in prison for tax evasion and gun possession and was released from prison in May 2013, after serving two years.

According to the government website, an application for entry must be refused where the applicant “has been convicted of a criminal offence in the UK or overseas for which they have received a custodial sentence of 12 months or more.”

The Rap legend was due to be supported on the UK Sunrise tour by RnB singers Mya, Lloyd and Keri Hilson.

Concerts were scheduled to take place in London, Birmingham, Nottingham, Liverpool and Leeds.

Ja Rule was one of the biggest selling rappers in the early 2000s, and released a string of hit songs, including “Livin’ It Up” featuring Case, “Put It On Me” featuring Lil’ Mo and Vita, “Always on Time” featuring Ashanti and “Thug Lovin'” featuring Bobby Brown.

The rapper was also previously involved in the controversial Fyre Festival, but was cleared of any legal wrongdoing.

A Home Office spokesperson said: “It is a matter of longstanding government policy that we do not routinely comment on individual cases.”

Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher’s, ethnic Caucasian-Jewish Home Secretary, Lord Brittan, banned the African American Minister, Mr Louis Farrakhan in 1985, because of widespread media allegation of the Minister’s negative statements concerning ethnic Caucasian-Jewish men and women: whilst the KKK Grand Drogan was welcomed to England.

Without sufficient provocation or justification, Sir Tony Blair’s Home secretary, Lord David Blunkett, imposed punitive visa requirements on Jamaican visitors in 2003; without receiving any criticism from Caribbean Labour voters, or Labour’s African-Caribbean MPs or Elected Councillors.

This 2003 Labour policy has destroyed, and ruined Caribbean people’s slavery created extended family structure; whilst being the principle cause of the demise of Caribbean heritage people in England today.

Today, the Voice report on the banning of Mr Ja Rule, from entering England; continuing the Home Office’s animosity against African-skinned people- even with an ethnic African skinned Home Secretary, which establishes once again the failure of “diversity” as a remedy for skin-colour discrimination experienced by African-heritage people.

    One thing is crystal clear.

His Majesty’s Labour, and Conservative governments still hold a deep-seated animosity against African-skinned men and women; which Political Correctness, and or calls for “diversity” cannot correct.

We are not welcomed, despite Caribbean people’s 500-year intimate physical association with His Majesty’s native Caucasian-heritage Subjects.

The banning of the successful, and talented rapper, Mr Ja Rule, is clear evidence of the degree to which African-skinned men and women are still not welcomed in His Majesty’s realm.
