M&C Saatchi Saturday School presents Ownership and Black Futures: The Black History Month Weekender

In partnership with Out The Box UK, M&C Saatchi Saturday School and Mentor Black Business
bring you a weekend dedicated to the future of Black Entrepreneurship.

Taking place the weekend of 13-15 October, these three communities will come together with
influential change-makers for a weekend of workshops, panel discussions, music, networking
and tasty eats.

Being a community is about growing together – this is your chance to meet and shop some of
our favorite Black-owned brands, sample delicious West-African and Caribbean cuisine, take
part in peer mentoring sessions and even get your headshot taken for free.

Our talks programme includes:

  • Women and Finance: A financial wellbeing workshop for ethnic minority women run by Selina Flavius from Black Girl Finance
  • Never running out of cash: A workshop on how to successfully plan the business of your cashflow with Richard Fagbolagun from COMUZI, Bruce Marson Interim CFO M&C Saatchi Group and more more.
  • An Entrepreneurs first house: A workshop on how to purchase your first house as an entrepreneur host TBC
  • What is the future of Black Business and entrepreneurship? A panel discussion on the future of black business, where we’re heading as a business community, hosted by Raphael Sofoluke, UK Black Business Show
